Third place San Antonio FC (13-2-9) begin their Southern California road trip against one of USL West’s weakest clubs LA Galaxy II (7-14-4).

The Texas club is coming off of a win against top ranked Real Monarchs SLC, a stunner that saw two goals scored for SA in the closing moments of the match. Los Dos had a very weak start to the season, culminating in a USL-record loss to Reno that saw the California club fall 9-0. Since that defeat LA has kept all of their matches extremely close, keeping a one goal margin in all but one of their matches.

San Antonio will be without several players in this match. Cesar Elizondo, Kris Tyrpak, and Sebastian Ibeagha are suspended for yellow card accumulation. Rafa Castillo and Matt Cardone are on the injury list for the match, bringing the available roster down to 19 players for this match.

While San Antonio is heavily favored, both of their Southern California matches this week pit the club against teams who could very easily upset the Silver and Black if the visitors aren’t careful.
